Terms of Service

Draft — last updated July 2026

1. What BagDrop CDO does

BagDrop CDO connects travelers who need short-term luggage storage with local businesses ("Partners") who have space to offer it. BagDrop CDO is the booking and payment platform; the Partner is the party physically holding your bag.

2. Bookings and pricing

Storage is priced per bag, per day, with an hourly option capped at the daily rate so you never pay more than the flat-day price. The price shown at checkout is the total price, inclusive of any optional protection add-on you select.

3. Drop-off and verification

At drop-off, your booking is confirmed using a QR code generated at checkout and a numbered tamper-evident seal applied to your bag by the Partner. Keep your QR code and booking confirmation accessible — you will need it to release your bag at pickup. A mismatched or broken seal at pickup will be treated as evidence in any dispute.

4. Cancellations

Bookings can be cancelled free of charge before the scheduled drop-off time. No-shows (neither cancelled nor collected within the booked window) may be charged the full booking amount.

5. Liability and protection

Storage bookings include a baseline liability limit as shown at checkout. Travelers may optionally purchase additional protection at booking. Claims for loss, theft, or damage must be reported within [TBD — set once insurance partner terms are finalized] of pickup, and will be assessed using the seal-verification record from drop-off and pickup.

High-value items, cash, jewelry, and similarly irreplaceable items should not be stored through this service.

6. Partner responsibilities

Partners agree to store bags securely, apply the provided tamper seal at drop-off, verify the QR code at pickup, and make bags available during their stated opening hours. Partners are compensated via a revenue share on completed bookings, paid out on a regular schedule.

7. Prohibited items

Illegal items, weapons, perishable food, hazardous materials, and live animals may not be stored through BagDrop CDO.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use of BagDrop CDO after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
